If you want to play for Norths you must agree to:-


Pay your playing fees on time.

Attend nominated training sessions, games or club activities,

Players are to ensure that they are prepared to commence each session on time,

If you are not able to attend training or will be late for training you must notify the respective Team Manager or, if they are unable to be contacted, the Player Liaison Representatives,

In the event of unavailability on game day you are to notify the Respective Team Manager or, if they are unable to be contacted, The Player Liaison Representatives as soon as practicable,

To make yourself available to play in the side you have been selected in,

To arrive on game day at the time advised by your Coaches and Managers,

To support your club mates in other grades,

To be available as a reserve for higher grades, colts included,

To be available for team roster for activities the club nominates such as, but not limited, to barbecue, gear storage, raffle or doubles sellers etc.,

When injured advise your Team Manager or if they are unable to be contacted, the Player Liaison Representatives, to establish a suitable rehabilitation program.

Our Player Code of Conduct emanates from the Player's meetings conducted at the conclusion of the 2009 Rugby Season. There has been input from players managers and other members of the off field team to ensure the desired behaviour from all players representing our Club.

It was seen as essential to the club moving forward. This document outlines what was raised by the Players and reviewed and endorsed by the off field team.

Attendance
 

For Training all players are to arrive at the club and be ready to commence training at 6:00pm (Colts at 6:30) on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Attend all nominated club events and functions.

On Match Day all players are to arrive at the ground at the time advised by the respective Team Managers.

Attire


All players are to train in appropriate attire, boots and mouth guards.

All players are to arrive at the ground on match day wearing the Club Polo Shirt and Club Caps.

All players are to wear the club shorts and socks for matches.


On field behaviour


All players are to play within the Laws of the game of Rugby Union.

All players are to show respect to Referees and Assistant Referees. The captain is the ONLY player to approach on field officials unless requested.

All players are to show respect to opposition players and officials.

All players are to play the Club style of Rugby developed by the Coaching Staff.

All players are to play in a spirit which brings credit and respect to themselves and the Club.

All players are to show respect to their team mates and have total commitment to the Team.

Off field behaviour


All players are to conduct themselves in a manner which only brings credit to themselves and the Club.

All players are to be courteous and respectful of Club Officials, Sponsors and Supporters.

All players are to be respectful of Opposition Officials and Supporters.

All players are to show respect for the Club's property.
